Job reports

Once a job is completed, various kinds of reports can be generated, as needed.

Generating a report

To create a job report, simply follow these steps:

  1. Select the right workspace and go to the Jobs page.
  2. Select the job for which the report is to be generated.
  3. Click on in the toolbar.
  4. Edit the default report name, then select the report type and format.

A report can be generated for only ONE job at a time.

Report options

Test type:

  • Job: Contains job-related information.
  • iOLM, FIP, etc.: Contains specific data for the selected test type.

Report type:

  • Job summary: one page with only job relevant data (properties, progression stats, comments).
  • Job execution details: table with “common” data for test results.
  • Single: one page or tab per result.
  • Summary: table with specific result data, depending on the test type.

Export format: PDF or Excel

Sort by:

  • Identifiers: Sorted by test identifiers (e.g. Cable ID, Fiber ID).
  • Test date: Sorted by local test date & time.

Result images: Whether or not to include images such as iOLM link view, OTDR trace graph and FIP images.

Attached photos: Whether or not to include pictures taken by the technician.

Comments: Whether or not to include comments related to the job and/or each result.

Geolocation: Whether or not to include GPS coordinates for each result (when available).
