Export a job

In case you have to import your Exfo Exchange jobs in another tool or another system you are using, you may need the job export option. With that option you can export the created job in a compressed folder (.ZIP) named after the job, including all results and attachments.

From the Webapp

1. From the Jobs page, select one job you want to export*.
2. Then select the Export option above the table.
3. Choose the file option that fits you best in the modal which pops (see examples below).

* above is how the “All files” option looks

4. Confirm and the download will immediately start after that.

5. Find your .zip in your regular download folder.

p  About the export options : 

• Default files only include binary files such as .sor .iolm .otdr;
• All files include binary, .JSON, attachments & comments as well.

* Batch export isn’t available yet

From the FTB or MaxTester

1. From the Jobs page, select one job you want to export
2. Then tap the Export Results button at the bottom of the screen
3. Select a folder on you local file system where to export the job’s results

p  IMPORTANT : When importing from FTB or MaxTester, only test results executed
on the same unit will be exported.

* Exporting jobs from the unit will also include retests, when available.

Folder structure

Here is the folder structure for exported jobs (both from web app or FTB/Max):

   When importing a job from the FTB or MaxTester, the main folder will also include
an extra results.json file, which contains all test results in JSON format.
