Test configurations

You can import your own test configurations, which can later be used by contractors and technicians, when running tests in the field with devices connected to EXFO Exchange. This will ensure that the correct test parameters are used consistently across teams.

Prior to associating a test configuration to a job or pushing a config to a test unit, those configurations must be imported to your organization account.

Importing a new test configuration

Importing test configurations is managed by the web app. Once logged in and the appropriate organization selected, simply follow these steps:

  1. On the left navigation menu, click on the Settings  icon, then Test configurations.
  2. Click on the Import button
  3. Browse and select the test configuration file from your file system, then click Import.
