Understanding the Available Actions
Publish: Publishes your result property so it will be applied to all future job results and other results across every workspace in your organization. Existing results are not affected. Your result property remains active and attached to all of your results as long as its status is set to “published.”
Edit: You can edit the name of your result property and preview how it will appear to your Technicians. If you upgrade to a paid plan, additional formatting options become available.
Retract: Even if your result property has already been published, you can still retract it. The retraction will apply to all current job results that have not yet been executed. Any results that were already executed will remain unchanged.
Delete: Deleting your result property is a permanent, non‑reversible action. Once deleted, it cannot be recovered.
Publish or Edit result properties
Publish
When you publish a property, it becomes active and applies to all results across your organization. Publishing is permanent and remains in effect everywhere until you choose to retract or delete it.
2- A dialog will appear asking you to confirm that you want to publish the new result property.
Once you publish a property, it becomes available to everyone in your organization and will apply to all results moving forward. You can still edit it, retract it, or delete it permanently afterward.
Edit
You can edit at any time, no matter the status of the result property.
Note that after a property is published, you can edit its name but not its property code.
To edit a result property, follow these steps :
1- open an existing property in your table and select the Edit option.
2-A dialog will appear allowing you to edit your result properties. As mentioned earlier, you can only modify the property name.
Note that if you have a paid plan, you will also be able to edit the format and the mandatory status.
3- Your changes will take effect immediately, and the updated result property will appear at the top of the list.
Retract or Delete
Retract
Once a result property is published, it can be retracted at any time. As a result, it may no longer be applied to all of your results.
To retract a result property, follow these steps :
1- open a published existing property in your table and select the Retract option.
2- A dialog will appear asking you to confirm that you want to retract the selected result property.
Delete
Deleting a result property from the table is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you truly want to remove it, as you will need to create a new one if deleted by mistake. Removing properties can also help you manage your list, since you can only have up to 15 items.
2- A dialog will appear asking you to confirm that you want to delete the selected result property.
